Bob asks:

Recently we purchased a number of BlackBerry's for our sales team. We love the added productivity that these devices have given to our company.
However, some of the salespeople have noticed recently that their BlackBerry's are not as fast as they used to be. Is there anything we can do to
get our BlackBerry's to run faster?

Tip:

This is a common question that we get quite often. We have two great tips to help solve this issue. Both of these tips assume that there is nothing
physically wrong with your BlackBerry device.

1) Most people leave their BlackBerry devices running all the time. While this will not physically harm your BlackBerry device, it can potentially slow it
down over time. Try "power cycling" (turning off and on) your BlackBerry on a daily basis. This helps clean out the device memory so that your
BlackBerry will run at peak performance at all times.

2) Do you like to download games, pictures, music or other media to your BlackBerry? Storing too much data on your BlackBerry can definitely slow
down your device over time. Try deleting old files from your BlackBerry on a regular basis. This includes old email's that you no longer need to keep.
Better yet, if your BlackBerry has a memory storage card in it, make sure to designate it as your primary storage destination for all downloaded media
files. This will leave your BlackBerry memory free for other processing tasks.
